TAKE A LOOK AT WHAT'S HAPPENING IN APRIL!

April 1st - April 30th: Go Green for the Green Metal Recycling Fundraiser with Alter Metal

We have been selected for Alter Metal's "Go Green for the Green" fundraising program this April, and this is one of the easiest ways YOU can help our animals!

Here's how it works:

Take your scrap metal to Alter (or to the bin here at CNHS)

Tell them you're donating to the Central Nebraska Humane Society

The proceeds go directly to us and are MATCHED dollar for dollar

That means your:

Aluminum cans

Old appliances

Junk cars

can turn into food, medical care, and second chances for the animals in our care.

All month long in April

April 1st - April 10th: Cutest Dog/Cat Contest for National Pet Day with South Walmart

Vote for the cutest CNHS cat/dog for #NationalPetDay! Stop by the table during your shopping and donate to vote. Proceeds are kindly given back to CNHS!.

April 1st - April 30th: Floors for Paws with CMH Interiors

The whole month of April is Floors for Paws! Shop Shaw Floors Pet Perfect where 5% is donated back to local shelters including CNHS!

April 11th: Dine to Donate for National Pet Day with Texas Roadhouse

Join us at Texas Roadhouse for #NationalPetDay
10% of all food sales will be graciously donated back to CNHS from 4pm-11pm!

April 1st - May 31st: Donation Drive with Menards

Menards here in Grand Island will be collecting items for CNHS for the months of April and May

April 27th: Go Big Give PRE GIVE opens
